Large-scale Moscow's Attacks Eliminate Power Across Kyiv

Power facilities under attack in Ukraine
The country's power facilities have come under escalating attacks in recent weeks

Overnight, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have resulted in electricity outages in extensive areas of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were hurt while local people in eastern neighborhoods were left without electricity and faced problems to water systems, as stated by municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a young boy was lost their life in a different assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, according to local officials.

Russian forces has intensified attacks on power infrastructure over the past few days, while officials has called for "concrete actions" from international partners to exert influence on Russia.

"The necessity is not superficial actions but decisive action - from the America, Europe and the G7 - in delivering air defence systems and implementing sanctions," was stated in a online statement.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and several dozen projectiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and technical staff were striving to restore power.

A barrage of missiles struck energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people injured in the assaults on the city have been taken to hospital, as confirmed by city authorities.

Area administrators said the city experienced significant strikes throughout the evening. A young boy died and multiple civilians were hurt.

The assaults follow periods of air raids in the territory, portions of which remain under the control of Russian forces.

The entire country is on alert for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are tougher to detect.

Authorities told journalists that Russia was intentionally trying to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already affecting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated energy workers and government agencies were anticipating further attacks.
